I am a Romanian composer, producer and sound designer working across electronic music, instruments, sample libraries and visual media.
I was born and raised in a family with a musical tradition spanning several generations. Drawn to music from an early age, I began studying it when I was six.
After finishing school in 2000, I began composing original music for films and theater productions and collaborating with recording studios.
In 2005, I began moving from classical music into the electronic music scene. In 2007, I started an electronic music label. Since then, I have released music under my own name, as part of 3 Liquid Hz and under the alias Ricky Ambilotti.
In 2011, I expanded into sound design, creating sample packs for established labels and music technology companies.
I do not define myself by a single genre or style. I think of myself as a musical harlequin: I never know what will inspire me or what will emerge next, so expect the unexpected.
